Wow, what a fantastic start to our fundraising in earnest. A great turnout for our meeting, and some donations and pledges already made – thank you to everybody.
Our big news is we are:
- planning to put the shop at the Old Band Hall, Silver Street
- raising £120,000, to cover the building’s purchase and setup costs
- we have been given a £10,000 grant from the Big Lottery Fund
